Biography

Filipa GC Ruiz was born in 1988 in Lisbon, Portugal.

She graduated in 2009 with a BA in Art and Multimedia - Audiovisuals in the Faculdade de Belas Artes (Portugal) and TAMK University (Finland).

Since then, she has been working both in film and TV projects in positions including 1st Assistant Director and Assistant Producer. After taking a short course at the MET Film School (London), she decided to enroll at EICAR (International Film School of Paris) to take her Master degree in Directing. Having completed her first short film MK Spitfire, she is now working on her next project.
